We are not writing this as a book promotion. We are writing this because people deserve to be safe.

Dr. Heafey was entrusted with the care of a survivor in crisis—someone facing stalking, harassment, and escalating abuse. Instead of offering protection or support, he dismissed their disclosures, refused to help build a legal timeline, and obstructed their efforts to seek justice.

After termination, Dr. Heafey continued contacting the survivor—often late at night—despite clear refusals. His messages became sexually explicit, manipulative, and coercive. He sent building access codes, proposed private meetings, and made disturbing offers under the guise of “care.”

When confronted about possible ties to the survivor’s abusers, he refused to clarify. Instead, he pushed for control: medication, hospitalization, and legal agreements designed to silence.

When the survivor posted negative reviews and requested a refund, Dr. Heafey used financial offers as leverage to suppress their voice. He continued to harass them even as they disclosed panic attacks and suicidal ideation.

This is not a therapeutic failure. This is a pattern of predation.
